In the most characteristic, intimate and mystical village of the area, the Pieve di San Pietro stands out, one
of the oldest churches in the whole diocese of Bologna which dates back to before the year one thousand.
In this small but dense agglomeration of ancient buildings, called Pieve di Roffeno, where the setting brings
to life the atmosphere of a past made up of monks, knights, peasants and feudal lords, Daniela founded the
Agriturismo Antica Pieve.
Daniela is the custodian of the culinary traditions that characterize the Bolognese Apennines and personally
prepares the food with passion and dedication. An ideal place for intimate lunches and dinners or with
friends, in recent years the owner has developed skills in hosting not only traditional weddings but, in the
summer, set up outdoors in the wonderful setting of the Apennines and within the splendid chestnut grove
that Daniela takes care personally together with her family: in the shade of these precious chestnut trees
