The Boscoparco la Birichinaia was born in August 2017 in Tolè, municipality of Vergato (BO), the result of the collaboration between the Artolè Association and the Municipality of Vergato. The green area aims to combine traditional games for children, such as swings, with works of art dedicated to early childhood and educational tools to create a real open-air classroom, all surrounded by a fairy tale and splendid murals and statues depicting the animals of the forest.
Over the years, many cultural events have attracted small visitors and locals, to spend a day full of fun and relaxation, in total respect for the nature that surrounds it and in which it integrates.
The prerogative of the Artolé Association is to inaugurate every year some works of painting and sculpture which will then remain to decorate the small town, which after twenty years has won the title of real open- air museum. alphabet painted by Nadia Cristoni, the panels by Daniela Bertocchi, the wooden sculptures by Nicola Franci, up to the paintings, ceramics and bas-reliefs donated free of charge by artists from all over Italy.
