The Proloco di Labante was founded in 2002 with the intention of aggregating the community of the town and enhancing the beauty of our territory. It has its headquarters in the center of the hamlet which is a meeting point for the inhabitants. In collaboration with the Parish, owner of the "Don Gaetano" Cave Park of San Cristoforo, it manages the park and organizes some traditional festivals in the summer months. Among these we can mention the "Festa degli Antichi Mestieri" (end of July) and the "Chestnut Festival" (mid-October).
The Proloco manages the Grotte Park refreshment point from June to August, where it is possible to taste drinks, coffee, typical products and get information on the place and on the CAI trails. The Proloco represents a surveillance point not only of the park, but of the whole surrounding area and offers a hospitality and welcome service to all tourists who visit this beautiful green space every weekend and engage in many activities, including trekking .
