Upstream of the provincial road on which Cereglio rests, you reach an ancient village, which overlooks the town and the valley.
On the top of the village, on the side of the square, you enter a passage between two houses; on the external wall of one of them, a large portion of the fresco of Santa Caterina d'Alessandria is still visible today, easily recognizable by the iconographic attributes of her martyrdom.
The fresco, apparently from the 1400s, has been restored by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Bologna.
